CHOOSING YOUR STONE
Thinking back, has your partner ever hinted to the fact that they would prefer a diamond or a type of gemstone? Diamonds are a timeless classic, but many people choose coloured gemstones for something a little different. Look for any signs she may have given you, maybe she has a secret pinterest board filled with peach sapphires or if she loves the ocean a blue sapphire could be her perfect gemstone. Take some time to think about which your partner would prefer and what you like, or if you're unsure our team will guide you through some beautiful options that are tailored to you.
HAND SELECTED FOR YOU
At Naveya & Sloane, we are meticulous about the quality of our diamonds and gemstones. As every stone is completely unique, our goal is to help you hand select the most spectacular stone that maximises the value of your budget. We seek to understand what is most important to you and your partner, so we can provide genuine advice that is personalised and helpful.
ABOVE AND BEYOND THE 4C'S
The 4C's system, designed by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), is a universal guideline that supplies a basic understanding of a diamond's quality. These grades are categorised by a number of characteristics including colour, clarity, cut, and carat weight, which determines the rarity and value in an easy to understand format. When you work with us, our consultants will talk you through the finer details of the 4C's and how this will relate to your budget, to help you select the perfect stone.
Naveya & Sloane, along with the global diamond industry, have a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. Through measures such as the Kimberley Process (which tracks diamonds from mine to market) the industry is in partnership with the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organisations which police diamond exports to prevent the trade of illegal diamonds. For more information on this, please visit here. Diamonds are mined throughout the world, including major mines in Australia, Africa, Russia and Canada, and are a major source of aid in many African nations, employing and providing healthcare to tens of thousands.
